We love a card that turns up on time as much as you do. Here's exactly how it works, so there are no surprises.

The short version
We pack your order on the Gold Coast and hand it to Australia Post within 1–3 business days. Australia Post then delivers it, usually in 2–6 business days depending on where you live. Spend $35 or more on a retail order and shipping within Australia is free and tracked.
Our part: packing it with love
We dispatch orders within 1–3 business days of payment, Monday to Friday, not including Queensland public holidays. In our busiest weeks (Christmas, Valentine's Day and Mother's Day) it can take a little longer, and we'll email you if we expect a delay. You'll get a tracking link the moment your parcel leaves the nest.
Australia Post's part: getting it to you
Once your parcel is dispatched, delivery is up to Australia Post. Their current published estimates, in business days after the day of posting, are:
Parcel Post: 2–4 business days within the same state, 3–6 business days interstate.
Express Post: 1–2+ business days within the same state, 1–3+ business days interstate.
Australia Post says actual delivery speed depends on where the parcel is going and how busy their network is, and rural and remote areas can take longer. These are estimates, not guarantees.
Got a deadline?
We get it: birthdays don't move. But delivery times are estimates, and we can't guarantee your order will arrive by a particular day (birthdays and events included) unless we've agreed to that in writing, by email reply from us, before you place your order.
Our golden rule: order early. Allow up to 3 business days for us, plus Australia Post's delivery time. Future you will thank you.
Free tracked shipping on retail orders over $35
Spend $35 or more on a retail order (that's four cards) and shipping within Australia is free and tracked with Australia Post. We often pop orders into Express Post when we can, but we can't promise it. Free shipping is for retail orders only.
Under $35? Shipping is calculated at checkout, so you'll see the full cost before you pay.
Wholesale orders
Free shipping doesn't apply to wholesale orders. Wholesale shipping is charged at Australia Post rates, calculated on your order. Display stands travel by TNT courier, with the rest of that order riding along. Everything else goes by Australia Post.
Overseas
Sorry, we're Australia-only for now. Every card comes with plantable seed paper confetti, and many countries (New Zealand included) don't allow seeds across the border, so we're keeping it local.
Check your address
Your address goes on the label exactly as you type it, so please double-check the unit number, street, suburb and postcode. If we send your order to the address you gave us and it's wrong or incomplete, we're not responsible if it's delivered there or goes missing. If Australia Post sends it back to us, we'll post it again once you've covered the postage again, or refund the items minus the original postage, whichever you prefer.
Need to change or cancel?
Email hello@papernest.com.au straight away with your order number. We pack fast, so emailing us doesn't put an order on hold, and a change or cancellation only counts once we've replied to confirm it. Once your order has left the nest it can't be cancelled, changed or redirected, and we can't refund it because it won't arrive by a particular day.
Lost, late or squashed
If your parcel arrives damaged, or hasn't turned up well past Australia Post's estimate, email hello@papernest.com.au with your order number (and a photo if it's damaged). We'll chase it with Australia Post and replace or refund it.
If you've chosen authority to leave and a parcel goes missing after it's been marked as delivered, we'll help you lodge a claim with Australia Post.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law still apply if your order arrives faulty or damaged, or doesn't arrive at all when it was sent to the correct address.
