Pablo Picasso once said "My art hangs in the world's greatest galleries, and yet what I'd really like is to get to draw for a Papernest card." Sadly for Pabs, he died 38 years before his dream could come true.

Good thing for us, however, we work with a new generation of world-class artists based right here in Australia and around the world.

Augusto B.M.

"The idea of simplicity in art has always fascinated me – a few lines representing a lot. "These are the words of Augusto, an artist born in Natal, northeastern Brazil. You'll find his beautifully clean and minimal style capturing the essence of nature and human forms on some of our all-occasion letterpress cards.

Nat Pop

Nat is an Australian artist currently living it up on the Gold Coast. While you'll find mostly watercolours on Papernest cards, she's equally happy painting with oils. As Nat explains, her images explore the "sacredly mundane within the home environment." We are clearly big fans of her unique vision, and we're thrilled to introduce her to more people.

Natalie Chatlotte

Natalie splits her time between London and Mexico City. When she's not lending her calligraphy talents to Papernest, she's applying her passion for hand lettering on gorgeous wedding stationery and high-end leather goods for Burberry. We know the level of care Natalie takes, and we're so proud to have her meticulously crafted work among our collection.

Constanza Goeppinger

Constanza is an illustrator and graphic designer from Chile who now calls Australia home. This naturally talented designer works mainly in a digital format focusing on women, flowers and fashion. There's something always unexpected or whimsical in her scenes, and we love it all. Turns out our customers love Constanza too.

Katarina was born and raised in the scenic waterways of Gothenburg, Sweden. After studying illustration in the UK, she was approached to bring her bright and colourful style to clothes ranging from high-end fashion to big-time babywear brands. Now a freelance designer for clients worldwide, we're thrilled to have Katarina in the nest.

Courtenay McCue

Courtenay is a Gold Coast-based visual artist known for her quirky and eclectic art style, which spans painting, murals, textiles, installations and ceramics. Her work blends nostalgic pop influences, drawing on memories and inspirations from different eras.

James Lake
